This Technical Marketing role will focus on developing applications to be used as demonstration tools highlighting the elements and use cases of our Native Hybrid Cloud Solution; which is based on Pivotal Cloud Foundry. The primary goal is to be able to create new and interesting applications and demonstrate their function, development life cycle, and integration into the NHC Platform.
Daily activities and responsibilities would include…
+ Designing and developing applications based on PCF and our NHC Components and Add-on modules, like data analytics and IoT
+ In support of the Dell EMC evangelist, presales and services teams…
+ Creating Demos for them to use and training them on how to deliver the demos
+ Educates and enables on application development best practices
+ Supports simple levels of demo customization
+ Collaborates with the Solution and Tech Marketing Subject Matter Experts to socialize and communicate the demo capabilities.
Helps all our teams answer:
+ “What do you DO with NHC (and the NHC Modules) once you have it…and how does it make your business better?”
+ Develops the tools and demos to showcase the value of Cloud Native Apps running on the Native Hybrid Cloud platform
+ Help our field better able understand and demonstrate the **application lifecycle** , not just the platform lifecycle
Need to have extensive experience 3+ years in developing enterprise or cloud scale applications based on Java.
+ Comfortable in Java with experience in Spring and Spring eco-system. Knowledge of Ruby, Python is a plus.
+ Knowledge of Cloud Native and MicroService architecture would be a plus.
+ Knowledge on containers and container packaging like Docker would be a must.
+ Having experience on working with persistent data services like Mongo, Redis, Cassandra would be a plus.
+ Analytical ability, problem solving skills and decisions making skill.
+ Experience on developer tool kits.
+ Hands on automation of the CI/CD tool set.
+ Bachelors Degree in CS or related field.
