Provides information and helps resolve user problems regarding department systems. Acts as a liaison between the business and IT personnel to support the unit’s technology needs; represent user area in all system enhancements and design activities. Reviews user requests, conducts data gathering interviews, documents business specifications, and manages technology projects until completion.



Oversees projects that span across multiple areas, functions, and/or lines of business. Serves as a liaison between the business and the IT area, translating varied business needs into application software requirements. Oversees projects that include various phases and moderately sized project teams. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Leads project meetings. Provides updates to business leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of technology. Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs and analyses and designs solutions to complex and varied business needs. Designs, implements, and monitors the progress of initiatives, milestones, and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met. Manages critical relationships with IT, consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business customers/leadership. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Leads and motivates project team members that are not direct reports that may span multiple functions/LOBs


Required Qualifications

  • Strong Project Management skills. PMP Certified or equivalent experience.
  • Effective Management of multiple, concurrent projects
  • Ability to provide clear direction to project delivery team(s) Internal and External to MetLife.
  • Ability to anticipate business needs, apply questioning strategies and drive solutions.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) solutions including but not limited to ARCHIBUS, TRIRIGA, FM Systems and/or Conference Room Booking tools including but not limited WorkSmart and Asure, Sustainability software including but not limited cr360. Project Management software including but not limited to Lucernex.
  • Corporate Real Estate and/or Facility Management background
