Job Description
Workday User Interface is...

...generated dynamically from metadata. Our User interface developers focus on building beautiful user experiences without worrying about the application logic. We build a browser in a browser, just with a richer and cooler widget, container library. Built on modern, standards-based technologies, UI is meticulously crafted - and deployed continuously to customers using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience writing highly performant, reusable code for the modern frontend
• Strong knowledge of programming in Java, JUnit and Mock frameworks
• Expert level understanding of modern Javascript frameworks (Angular, Backbone, etc)•
• Bachelors Degree (or higher). (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferable)
• 5+ years work experience developing complex software applications.
• 5+ years experience with front-end web development. (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Utilize common design patterns. (MVC, Inversion of Control, Event-driven systems)
• Ability to adequately test and thoroughly design components. (JUnit, Google Test, mock testing)
• Collaborate across teams like Product Management, User Experience, and Visual Design.
• Deliver products on time in an agile and continuous development environment.
• Develop cross-platform software that runs on a variety of browsers and environments.
