We're looking for a Sr UX Designer to join our UX team to design the user experience for our core products. You will have a track record of crafting end-to-end experiences across multiple functional areas using user-centered design, agile lean UX methodologies. He or she will also have a background in data science or a related field. We are looking for someone who thrives in a technically sophisticated environment. Moreover, we work in a dynamic, iterative development environment, so the ability to communicate effectively, and collaborate with many different developers and product managers is a requirement.

  • Design tools that enable users to quickly and easily gain useful insights from datasets of disparate types, sources, and sizes.
  • Advocate for and execute user-centered design lean UX process for interaction design at throughout the product development process.
  • Craft design specifications and design standards in the form of storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and screen flows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and product marketing throughout creative process.
  • Communicate design concepts to partners.
  • Closely monitor implementation and continue design work as needed through release, and beyond.
  • Passion for building phenomenal user experiences.

  • 8+ years of experience
  • You have expertise in crafting tools to enable users quickly to understand and gain insights from datasets of disparate types, sources, and sizes
  • Expertise in data visualization and exploration of Big Data
  • Experience crafting applications targeted at IT Operations, Security Professionals, and or Business Analysts
  • You have a Background in data science or a related field
  • You have proven ability to be responsible for the design direction of a large scale UI projects including the underlying conceptual models
  • Ability to work on problems of complex and diverse scope, and to identify creative alternatives
  • Effective in communicating conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationale both verbally and visually
  • Experience in applying user research, user needs validation and usability evaluation
  • You have proven ability to work harmoniously in diverse, cross-departmental teams
  • Experience crafting for a broad set of UI platforms including web, desktop and mobile
  • Experience in a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile a strong plus
