Senior Vice President and Business Lead for Indices and Indicators

The individual in this role is responsible for Global Exchange's benchmark indices investable indices and indicators businesses including product strategy and management sales and marketing strategy client service and operations and financial performance. He / she will have shared accountability with regional leads in EMEA and APAC on relevant activities in their regions as well as on any regional tailoring needed. He/she will report to the head of Innovation & Advisory Services within Global Exchange who in turn reports to the head of Global Exchange.

  • \t\tCollaborate with research team IT and others as needed on design and creation of products (including underlying technology) and client user experience

  • \t\tLead activities to source products from partners where appropriate as part of "build / buy / partner" approach to product strategy
  • \t
  • \t\tEstablish end-to-end business model including pricing pre-sales sales / contracting onboarding operations client servicing and billing / collections
  • \t
  • \t\tGain necessary internal and external (e.g. regulatory) approvals to offer product in targeted geographies

  • \t\tSupport pre-sales activity as required to help design / scope our onboarding activity and explain our servicing approach possibly including proof-of-concept or trial execution

  • \t\tMaintain and report on overall view of controls (including operational KPIs) that underlie product-related activities in line with corporate Risk Excellence philosophy

  • \t\tCollaborate with peers in other product areas to ensure consistency in approach sharing of learnings / best practices etc.

  • \t\tBachelor's degree required MBA or similar master's degree preferred
  • \t
  • \t\t15-20 years of work experience in financial services with a strong preference for candidates with index and/or indicator background
  • \t
  • \t\tDemonstrated general management and P&L experience; strategic mindset
  • \t
  • \t\tGlobal experience preferred
  • \t
  • \t\tAbility to attract and retain talent and motivate staff to high levels of achievement and sell
  • \t
  • \t\tHands-on style willingness to roll up sleeves
  • \t
  • \t\tComfort with ambiguity and with adjusting course as business grows
