At Splunk, our designers are crafting working to define a deeply engaging and captive experience for our users. We're looking for an inventive and motivated individual to join our UX team and help shape those experiences for the next generation of Splunk prod. As a senior visual designer, you will be involved in the full life-cycle of design. Collaboration and partnership with product teams will ensure your ideas come to fruition helping evolve the Splunk experience through design language.

Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Creative Director define the visual design language and branding of Splunk's products
  • Translate concepts, iterate on designs, and work reciprocally with other members of the marketing design team, product design teams, and agencies
  • Deliver design documentation leading to the successful implementation of your design
  • Produce high-quality assets, including icons, illustrations, and data visualizations
  • Possess a strong point of view, and become an advocate of user-centered design at Splunk

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience as a software visual designer
  • Can demonstrate design savvy adhering to both widely recognized standard methodologies and creative trends
  • Have a strong portfolio which highlights your ability to visually interpret products that have influenced the human interactive experience with a product or products
  • Dynamic and consummate teammate eager to embrace challenges regardless of size and scale
  • Experience within an Agile delivery team to iteratively plan and develop products

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in or foreign equivalent in Design or related discipline

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Experience with working in an agile environment is a plus
