Service Coordinator - San Jose, CA The Service Coordinator is a critical member of the team and will be instrumental in driving the after sales service business. This person is responsible for the customer facing communicaton of the US based service team which includes ensuring orders are processed through necessary wrokflows, engaging the customer, members of Sales and the Customer Service team. Additionally the Service Coordinator handles incoming technical calls and routes accordingly if they cannot be addressed directly. Responsibilities: Primary point of contact for all repair or warranty related issues Coordinate all customer returns Prepare evaluations / repair quotes / failure analysis to the customer Work with Logistics team to ensure adequate Service Parts Stocking Act as key interface with Service Department in HQ for specialized repairs not executed in US Ensure consistency and quality of defect repair documentation Leverage Assembly drawings and blueprints to determine correct spare parts for customer orders Act as key interface to report to Product Teams recurring product problems Coordinate the weekly repair workload Ensure repair delivery performance against confirmed date Monitore the turnaround time for repairs Coordination of upcoming field service interventions with customers and sales Develop, coordinate and implement dedicated service projects Service Hotline - reply on technical- and repair inquiries to customers Education and Experience: 1-3 years experience in technical service Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent lift/carry of 25 pounds and to stand on your feet for extended periods throughout the work day Strong mechanical assembly, analytical and troubleshooting abilities Understanding of Basic Electronics Ability to function independently and multi-task Computer skills - proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office applications Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, as required To Apply - Please send a Word version of your resume to email@example.com.
