Mixer is one of the fastest growing live-video platforms for gamers. We serve an increasing number of stream views each month, and we need to grow a worldwide infrastructure just as quickly - without slowing down on feature agility. As a key member of our operations team, you’ll work with our small team of passionate engineers and product teams to shape the next generation in interactive live-streaming, pioneering advances in video delivery and experience, maintaining platform availability, and ultimately driving the experience forward.

We’re a community oriented platform where features go from inception to reality in days, not months. We’re huge believers in receiving early feedback and iterating quickly, and as an operations engineer on the team you’ll be a key part of our mission to bring low latency live video to gamers everywhere.

Qualifications:

•2+ years of professional experience managing Linux systems and common services in highly available environments

•Ability to work independently and make suggestions to improve the platform’s infrastructure

•Good communication skills to accurately describe difficult problems and ability to work in a team to resolve them

Additional desired skills & experience:

•Solution-oriented thinking

•Experience with CentOS 7

•Experience with BGP

•Understanding of video technologies (RTMP, HLS) Experience with WebRTC (including ICE, STUN, TURN).
