An Scientist position in Carlsbad, CA is now open through Adecco Group for a national client. This is a 12 month contract position with the possiblitly of a long term opportunity.
Shift: between 5am and 5pm but this role could end up working the 8:30-5pm shift after trained

Rate: $17-19/hr depending upon experience
Job Description Summary
Candidates must be able to work any shift between 5am and 5pm but this role may end up working the 8:30-5pm shift after trained
Respond positively to and expeditiously processes all incoming inquiries related to instrument service calls.
Some service contracts allow instrument replacement or depot repair versus on site engineer support.
For those contracts that involve instrument replacement or depot repair the successful candidate will perform order entry, processing of the return authorization, and customer guidance for instrument return.
Logs all incoming inquires through SAP and follows them through to completion.
Troubleshooting with customers so we can provide the best service possible in order to route the call or handle it appropriately. Has a strong attention to detail and is highly organized.
Dependable and possesses the ability to speak with a variety of people including internal and external customers.
A strong team player with the ability to multi task.
Have the ability to address escalations and handle unique customer requirements.
Responds to changing priorities and objectives.
Adhere to SOP's and departmental training guidelines in alignment with that of the Service and Support organization.
Follows established service standards and processing timelines.
Positive demeanor and a can do attitude that is transparent to the customer by demonstrating good judgment, tact and diplomacy.
Has courage and confidence.
Participates in meetings and initiates innovative processes. May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
2-4 yers of experience
Proficient in MSOffice.
Working knowledge of Excel: pivot tables, graphs, data sorts.
Knowledge of SAP, Lotus Notes, Siebel, or Business Objects a plus.
Departmental guidelines, ISO 9001 compliance program, .
In-depth understanding of customer service values, department goals and objectives, strategies, and needs.
Effectively manages workload and completes assignments, tasks and projects independently and in a timely fashion.
Demonstrates the ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions that are in the best interest of the business and department.
