Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create embedded systems for control of robotics and other mechatronics devices
  2. Develop mathematical algorithms and logic for operating robotics systems
  3. Create models to simulate mechatronic design concepts and predict system behavior
  4. Implement control systems for robots and other mechatronic systems
  5. Optimize control system parameters to achieve performance objectives
  6. Publish engineering reports documenting design details and qualification testing
  7. Analyze real time data to identify system problems and characterize performance


  • Proficiency and professional experience in C , MATLAB or Python
  • Strong math background
  • Understanding of electromagnetics and motor theory
  • Experience with control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Explains complex information to others in straightforward manner
  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree with 3 or more years of professional experience

Experience in several of the following areas is desired:

  • C , MATLAB and Python.
  • Automatic code generation
  • Servo drive controllers
  • Fitting mathematical models to data
  • Modeling mechanical systems
  • Interfacing camera hardware
  • Image processing
  • Path planning and trajectory design
  • Real time software
  • Control network protocols (such as EtherCAT)
