SUMMARY
Under general direction, is responsible for the shipping and receiving of all maintenance repair parts, consumable tooling material and operations items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities.   • Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the stock room through utilization of an Enterprise Resource Management Program.
  • Prepare shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders and withdrawal requests from the stock room are correctly fulfilled.
  • Consolidate shipping orders.
  • Reconcile receivers with Purchase Orders when actual shipments arrive.
  • Ensure that the goods delivered to the stock room are in accordance with Purchase Order, receiver and invoice.
  • Perform the unpacking of consolidated shipment deliveries and distribute contents to the right area for production requirements.
  • Maintain the automated inventory management system to ensure that actual physical inventory matches the database logical inventory.
  • Check inventory stocks physically or through automated systems to validate correct inventory.
  • Must be able to load and unload various types of trucks and material using forklifts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess an OSHA certified forklift license.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Must possess computer literacy skills to include Microsoft Word & Excel and the ability to utilize ERP software in the performance of daily work.
