Detailed Position Responsibilities We are offering an internship in the area of signal processing and data analytics. The intern will work on solving problem of extracting true occupancy from spurious motion sensor readings by applying signal processing methods. The work will involve literature survey, algorithm development and validation with real work data. Detailed Position Requirements: We are looking for a PHD student in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with extensive research experience in most of the following areas: signal/image processing, time series analysis, dynamic problems, data analytics. Candidate must show strong skills in both research and programming skills (Matlab/Python/R/Javascript preferred). Candidate must be able to work within a team environment and should be self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute. Candidate should also be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
