Duties:

Request and research Customer Service Records to determine inventory of dial tone circuits.

Place provisioning orders for porting of DID numbers with SIP providers.
Coordinate porting dates with office and voice team to provide support on cutover calls.
Cutover calls to occur after business hours.
Test and ensure calls are routing correctly on porting cutovers.
Ability to create voice ports and dial peers on Cisco routers as needed.
Organize dial tone inventory as orders are placed and fulfilled.
Oracle SBC programming as applicable for porting cutovers.
Ability to pull Nectar reports and analyze SIP troubleshooting logs.
Other telecom involved tasks assigned as applicable.

Skills:

5 or more years in a telecom customer facing position preferably in an enterprise environment
Possess experience working with commercial telecommunications service providers and telecommunications manufacturers and support vendors preferred.
Possess experience supporting multiple site environments preferred.
Must possess familiarity with the following systems: Avaya Communication Manager, Cisco Communication Manager, Cisco Unity and Skype for Business.
Must have experience in Nectar, SIP, Acme Packet, Oracle SBCs and Cisco Voice Routers. Advanced training in Oracle and Cisco preferred.
Submits voice circuit configuration orders to carrier and coordinates installation of voice circuits with telecommunications vendors. Expertise in PRIs and SIP required.
Ability to analyze system logs and identify potential issues with Telecommunications equipment a must.
Expert level knowledge and experience with telephony interfaces and protocols -- such as SIP, VoIP -- including troubleshooting, testing, design and maintenance as required.
Able to work independently or as a team member.
Must be able to provide after hours and weekend support when required
Exceptional customer service skills.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
Experience with advanced troubleshooting support in a telecom environment desirable.
