Site Supervisor

What you will do
Responsible for on-site project management of assigned projects or portions of project. Under minimal supervision, oversees total construction effort to insure project is constructed in accordance with scope, budget, codes, and schedule as bound by the contract. Supervises site activities of subcontractors on large and complex projects, or parts of large projects, of $5M in cost or greater. Coordinates JCI work with other site contractors to insure compliance with terms and conditions for the project assigned. In charge of execution of the project in the field from conception through completion.

How you will do it

Internal Relationships:
Works with the Construction Manager and Project Executive to ensure the profitable execution of assigned projects. Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract.

External Relationships:
Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with customer's on-site representatives, prime contractors and subcontractors. Ensures subcontractors readily understand expectations of the project.

Works with the project team to identify project objectives with alignment to the scope, budget and schedule.

Creates and manages schedules; tracking materials, managing vendors and subcontractors, allocating resources, resolving site conflicts, coordinating facility access, and ensuring appropriate site-working environments and code compliance.

Acts as Project Safety program Coordinator.

Ensures Quality Control and scope of work compliance through daily site inspections.

Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and Construction Management Standards.

Submits regular progress updates for incorporation into master plan/schedule to provide variance analysis reporting.

Coordinates with the Systems and Services Teams for allocating resources to meet the project objectives.

Resolves site conflicts regarding the sequencing of work and unforeseen conditions.

Coordinates facility access and ensures appropriate site-working environments.

Works with Construction Manager and Project Executive in managing risks and assists in establishing project recovery plans. Ensures recovery plans are carried out.
What we look for
Bachelor degree with minimum of 5 years experience in the direct project coordination on large/rehabilitation projects (or parts of projects) up to $5M. Strong in one discipline (e.g. civil, electrical, mechanical). Proficient in reading drawings and prints. Oversees specialty trades (generally 1-5) Proven track record in safety and OSHA 30. High-level competence in written and verbal communication at various levels. Must be able to present status updates of varying complexity. Able to travel 100% based on assigned projects, as projects may exist outside of assigned geography.
