This is an exciting opportunity in Jamestown, NY for an Assembly Team Member.
Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects

Services, supports and maintains all Industrial Machine equipment on the machining lines. Repair tasks, trouble shooting, installation, tool drawing reading and interpretation.

Machine tool drawing,(prints) reading and interpretation.
 Troubleshooting and repair and installation of mechanical systems
 Must be able to do all forms of fabricating and welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Oxy/Act)
 Hydraulics/Pneumatics, understanding, troubleshooting, print reading, repair, development and installation
 Bearings, understanding, troubleshooting, installation, print reading
 Rigging and installation of machinery and equipment
 Lubrication systems, understanding, troubleshooting, repair, development and installation.
 Spindle, Gear head, Transmission, Ways, Ball screws, troubleshooting and repair/rebuild.
 Hydrostatic systems, understanding, troubleshooting, repair/rebuild and installation
 Perform mechanical preventative maintenance,(PM's) task on equipment
 CNC machinery knowledge, troubleshooting
 Quick response troubleshooting and repair of various mechanical systems.
 Basic electrical knowledge, safety
 Ability to work at heights, authorization
 Ability to obtain, and maintain all required lift licenses, JLG, One-Man, Scissors Lift, etc.
 Ability to obtain and maintain a Fork Lift License if required
 Perform all work in a professional manner, Excellent workmanship and attention to details
 Support the plant in any matter that is needed
 Willingness to support change and demands
 Communication Skills
 Support others, Engineers, Trades, Operators, Support Techs, Trainee Program
 PC skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office, CAD) a plus

General
 Responsible to know, understand and comply with all departmental, site, and company policies and procedures.
 Participates in training and personal development; Trains other department personnel.
 Actively lead / participate as needed in continuous improvement that improves safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
 Flexible work hours as needed to support any shift.
 Completes all duties assigned.

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience. Qualifications:
 Must meet one of the following requirements (at minimum);
o Must possess seven (7) years' experience working in the Industrial Machine Repair field
o Successful completion of an approved 4 year (8000 hour on the job training) apprenticeship program, with related courses of study, plus one (1) year experience in Mechanical Machine Repair field.
o A two (2) year technical degree in a related field (i.e.; Mechanical/ Electro-Mechanical Technology), Plus three (3) years' experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field

o Follow all Cummins required guidelines and procedures, LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights, etc.
