Your Challenge The Philips North America Digital team is in search of a Junior or Senior at an accredited local college or university for a creative internship The person in this role will assist the Philips North America Social Media and Content teams with rich content creation. Candidate should be a Digital/Social Native, skilled at Videography/Photography/Editing/Photoshop who also has skill at writing Social content. - Successful applicant will be a team player with an impressive (though not necessarily extensive) portfolio of work that shows a unique vision. - You have the confidence to contribute your ideas during team brainstorming sessions. - Day to day focus will be on the creation of compelling video and photographic content often within the confines of our offices with our own employees around Philips' consumer and healthcare products. - You may be asked to write short pieces of content - The objective of your work will be to grow engagement and response on our owned Social Channels. We will tailor this internship to your availability 2 days per week throughout the summer. Period of Internship and hours could be extended (even into the school year) or even made full time during the summer if intern and the team agree that would be in everyone's interest. Though travel is not required, some travel opportunities may be available, especially to our facility in Andover, MA You may use your own camera(s) or we'll purchase one for you to use. Your Team This role reports to the Director of Digital in North America and supports the North America corporate Brand Communication and Digital Team. You'll join a high-performance team of Digital experts within Philips North America who are responsible for promoting, teaching and executing Digital Marketing capabilities and practices for all the Philips businesses in our market. A local college student who will be beginning their Junior or Senior year this fall. A terrific videographer/photographer who has worked in a variety of lengths, formats and social platforms A visual artist who is familiar and comfortable with a set of video and photo editing and enhancement tools. A team member who takes pride in their work but can work quickly and meet deadlines A confident and easygoing digital thinker who'll help generate and share ideas with the team and other stakeholders. A people person with a sense of humor and an ability to work with a variety of people A Social and Digital Native who probably has a Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or other social account you're really proud of.
