Software and Backup Support Specialist 2017

As a systems engineer and support specialist in our IT division you will be responsible for the installation, operations and troubleshooting of Intel's storage and backup solutions. You'll participate in hardware & software projects, manage and perform changes to our infrastructure and be responsible for supporting day to day operations including analyzing and troubleshooting complex problems and developing solutions utilizing formal education and judgement. You'll be working as part of a global team and interact regularly with internal customers and stakeholders to meeting the storage and backup requirements hosted on our private cloud.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

- The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
- 6 months of experience with Windows or Linux Server Administration.
- 6 months of experience in network protocols.
- Candidate must have legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
