Design and develop system calibration modules to enable an advanced imaging hardware system. Ensure delivered software meets intended system needs and system performance requirements. Develop optimization strategies. Strong math background related to imaging or Fourier signal processing. Write modules in C to run on a combination of Linux servers. Machine control and calibration software experience preferred. Able to lead peer reviews of deliverables (model, specification, test cases, etc.). Minimum of 5 years of related software development experience. BS or MS in computer science or related science & engineering degrees. Some skills necessary to qualify for this position include: high performance computing, EDA (Electronics Data Automation), Computational imaging, Fourier transform analysis, imaging processing, digital signal processing, machine vision, etc.
Skills and Education
PhD EE, PhD Mathematics, PhD Physics, MSEE, MS/BS in science and engineering degrees with software emphasis
Computer language preferred in this preferred order: C / C / OpenCL / CUDA / TCL-TK
OS platform: Linux or unix
PhD to have 2 years hands-on experience
MS to have 5 hands-on experience
BS to have 7 hands-on experience
