We are currently recruiting for co-op students to join our research & development organization. We are a world-class organization that utilize state-of-the-art development tools and apply leading edge technologies to develop Computed Tomography (CT) scanners that are used throughout the world. The Common Image Reconstruction Subsystem (CIRS) group develops advanced image reconstruction and processing software for CT scanners. These medical imaging devices are state-of-the-art using the latest hardware acceleration techniques and the fastest processing units-up to 6 CPUs and 6 GPUs per system. Candidate BIO Responsibilities • As a software co-op for the CIRS team, you will assist with developing software and testing our CT scanners, focusing on the image reconstruction and processing software using the latest hardware acceleration techniques and the fastest multi-core processors. • You will utilize C++ (unmanaged), C# .NET, Intel CPUs and chipsets, NVIDIA GPUs, and scripting languages on a Microsoft Windows platform using the latest Visual Studio. • You and your teammates will deliver on commitments by managing your time with the assistance of your team. • You will operate CT scanners to integrate our software and diagnose image reconstruction subsystem problems; training will be provided. • Areas of development may include (1) diagnostics tools, (2) software build automation, (3) software test automation and applications, (4) image reconstruction and processing, (5) system software and hardware installation, and (6) subsystem and scanner system testing. • Collaborate with teammates for development.
