This is a software engineering position working directly on kernel and virtualization technologies in enterprise operating system and storage products.

Design and develop next generation technology. This is system design and programming work at the kernel and low level userland library level.

Areas of focus include scheduling, I/O, virtual memory, system debugging tools, virtualization, and resource management. Problem spaces include both single and multi-host scenarios. Virtualization technologies include both hypervisor and container functionality.

This position requires both independent and team oriented work. Candidates need to be self-starters that can work with complex requirements and drive technical solutions.

System programming and debugging in C is a required core competency. Product technologies also include shell scripting, python, and REST APIs.

4 years experience required.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
