We are looking for an all around software developer in the Application Integration Engineering team. The team develops several plugins and integration components in the areas of enterprise monitoring/ management software, backup software, virtualization storage offloads and database appliance backups. Candidates with strong skills in multiple programming languages (Java, C/C , JavaScript, Python, Perl) as well as familiarity with ISV software (Enterprise Manager, VMware/OVM, Netbackup/Commvault, etc) are encouraged to apply.

This position will provide a variety of challenging opportunities to work in all tiers ranging from appliance level programming to web-based UI development. The engineer who takes this position will play key roles in full software lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation and code delivery. The role will also involve supporting customers using our software integrations in the field, encompass customer interaction, troubleshooting and identifying root cause, and provide workarounds and code fixes for customer issues.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
