The Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database team is looking for a talented software engineer with strong expertise in API and database utility development. Our distributed in-memory cloud database system is the most innovative in the world. Previous experience with the following is highly recommended:
- C, C , and Java
- ODBC, JDBC, OCI, PHP, .NET, and Node.js
- Data format conversions and data import/export
- Performance coding, emphasizing throughput and response time
- SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Distributed systems programming
You will be active throughout all phases of the software development cycle, including requirements analysis, functional and design specifications, coding, testing, performance tuning, and maintenance. You will also assist product management, customer support, and field engineers in resolving customer issues and collecting feedback for future product enhancements.Qualifications:
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
