Oracle's Infrastructure Load Balancing Service is Hiring Software Engineers
Oracle is building a from scratch Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Public Cloud, and a large part of that effort is state of the art network and load balancing capabilities. We are looking for exceptional software engineers with backgrounds in networking and distributed systems.
The load balancer team is building a high performance, scale out, high availability offering that will be the foundation of a modern cloud system. You will be part of a team founded by industry veterans from AWS, Google, OpenStack, Joyent and others that will create the first enterprise-grade public cloud service. We believe this team and mission sits squarely at the center of Oracle's future, and this is an opportunity to rethink the way load balancing, networking, compute, and storage systems interact and change the way applications are built.
We have engineering work at every layer of the stack, from REST API to networking to distributed systems and kernel internals, and we are looking for teammates who are interested in being part of a team that innovates from top to bottom. We believe that the only way to succeed is to own every part of the problem, and so we are creating a team that controls its own destiny. Our team will be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, with offices in Oakland, San Francisco, and Santa Clara.
