The Oracle Key Vault team is a diverse group of talented people who are passionate about doing what we can to improve data security in general and key management in particular. As there is proliferation of keys and other credentials in the corporate IT and cloud, key management is becoming an ardous task for enterprises.

Oracle Key Vault simplifies this task. As a product, Oracle Key Vault is a full-stack, security hardened software appliance that manages the TDE Master Keys, Oracle Wallets, Java keystores and credential files. It intergrates directly with Oracle TDE, MySQL, ACFS.

This position will manage a group of developers for Oracle Key Vault. The candidate would lead the functional and design aspects of the product, and provide technical guidance for the developers. Work with product manager to define the product direction, functionality and resolve customer's issues.

Ideal job specifications;

8 years of development experience focusing on Enterprise Level security systems with 2-5 years of leading or managing developers.

Familiar with databases, security, key management concepts, and security market.

Experience with hardening systems and building appliance a plus.

Exposure to various standards such as PKCS#11, KMIP, OpenSSL and diverse Cryptographic technologies is desired.
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience.
