The Database Security group at Oracle is responsible for developing database security technology that provides defense-in-depth for sensitive business data. We were the first in the industry to come up with innovative technologies such as Database Vault, Protection Realms, Multi-factor Authorization, Transparent Data Encryption, Virtual Private Database, Fine-Grained Auditing, Multi-level Database security, and data classification, integrating a wide spectrum of security technologies.

As security is one of the highest consideration for cloud tenants. We are building new Data Security Cloud Services for security DBAs to have one single plane to manage security for their databases.

This position will manage a group of developers for the Data Security Cloud Service UI development. Work with PM and development lead to define and design the common UI theme, flows and mockups based on the Cloud Services requirements. Provide technical guidance for the developers.

8 years of development experience with focus on UI design and development on Enterprise Level systems deadling with large data set. 2 years of experience leading or managing developers. Familiar with technologies like databases, Java Scripts, Angular JS and/or Oracle JET. Experience and familiarity with database security features and products a plus.
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience.
