As a member of Oracle Construction & Engineering GBU product development organization, you will manage several teams of developers working on the CEGBU Textura Payment Management Application. Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. You will also be expected to initiate and foster relationships with other groups.

As a Senior Manager in this team, you will be supporting and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. You will provide thought leadership, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria. This is not a pure people-management role; it is key to be able to be an effective individual contributor when needed and add value by providing technical and functional leadership that the team requires. You will be expected to have led and managed high performance teams and be of applications within the Cloud Solutions business area.

Deep understanding of Web Development, Project Management, Agile Principles and Team Leadership are required. May have project lead role and/or supervise other personnel. Must have MS/MTech/MBA degree or BS/B Tech./BE with equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
As a Senior Manager, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommend and justify major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

• 7 years software development and 4 years architecting large software solutions
• 4 years managing direct reports
• Demonstrate experience executing Agile methods for software product development
• Experience with a wide range of software architectures, platforms and tools including: Service Oriented Architecture, Software as a Service, Web Services, Java, Python, Oracle, JavaScript, HTML, etc.
• Very strong business analysis, system analysis or product analysis skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• High energy, confident, ambitious and self-motivated individual
• Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to change.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
