The Azure Active Directory team (AAD) is providing identity (authentication and authorization) services for the Microsoft Cloud, and is a keystone in Microsoft’s Cloud architecture. Our services are a key competitive differentiator for Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 platforms. We are currently working to push the limits for the scale, speed and availability of our services, as well as to enable new customer scenarios - both in the user space and for the enterprise.
Our team is looking for engineers passionate for building robust systems, with a proven track record of execution to help us push the limits of critical components of our Identity system. To give you an idea of the scale, our service is deployed in many datacenters across the globe, and is serving over 4 million requests per minute worldwide.
If you have experience working on/with services such as SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, Office365, Azure, etc. come and share your learnings; otherwise bring your passion and willingness to learn. You will be participating in feature and system design, develop services with an eye to resiliency and performance, and evaluate the effectiveness of your code in production.
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 2+ Years of software development experience
• Passion for designing, building and evolving highly available, geo distributed systems at scale
• Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience building scalable web services using ASP.NET or similar is a plus
• Experience with the operation of production services is a plus
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, EE or related field required
