The Office 365 Enterprise Cloud team works with Microsoft’s largest enterprise and government customers to deliver features that meet their specific needs and unblock cloud adoption. This immediate access to our existing customers and their needs gives us critical input to the challenges they are facing today and the solutions we need to provide tomorrow. As O365 continues its rapid expansion into the enterprise world, the focus of the team is to build highly scalable solutions to co-exist email in the hybrid scenarios. The feature set as customers are transitioning their emails from on-premises exchange to O365.

This position is for someone who is passionate about understanding and developing complex systems, passionate about distributed systems and building high scale services. Likes to work in an agile development team that iterates rapidly. Loves new technological challenges and excels at solving them. As a member of our team, you will participate in all stages of our engineering lifecycle - from initial research and discovery, quick iteration on promising concepts, solution prototyping and development, all the way through successful service roll out and live-site support. Developers in the team have an opportunity to wear multiple hats and demonstrate breadth, depth, and leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years of development experience shipping products across multiple product cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:
• BS/MS in CS or related field
• Solid design and coding skills with a bias for architecture at scale Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services.
• Knowledge of O365 stack, Microsoft Azure, Prior experience working on C++, C# and Powershell are a plus.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
