Bing Ads Rich clients team is the development team responsible for Windows and Mac desktop application used by online advertisers to create and manage their millions of ad campaigns. The challenges are to engineer user experiences that are easy to use, maximized for advertising efficiency, high performing, flexible, and scalable to meet the high throughput demands of our business. As a fast paced team that ships every week continuously, we are also looking to build lot of cool capabilities and make many architecture improvements over the next several years.

To accelerate these efforts, we are hiring software engineers to help us build the next generation of advertiser experience for Bing Ads. If you are passionate about building user experiences on all major platforms like Windows and Mac and are interested in online advertising, this will be your opportunity to get into the exciting growing space. We are looking for strong software engineer with customer empathy and intuition for great experiences to help improve our application codebase rapidly to delight our customers.

You will be responsible for driving an energetic team and building great desktop experiences that are fast and pleasing to our advertisers. Billions of dollars? worth of advertising flows through these experiences so this is an opportunity with great business impact potential. You will work closely with Program Managers, partner development teams and UX designers to design, implement, test, deploy, stabilize, and monitor features in a fast-paced agile development environment. You will work with a highly motivated team solving complex problems and have huge business impact and incredible opportunities to learn and grow. You will also have opportunity to learn advertising, which is a critical pillar for internet commercialization and innovate in that critical space.

Successful candidate will have:

-BS OR MS in Computer Science or technical degree

-2+ years of software design

-Minimum 2 years of development experience

-Experience driving teams through
architecture/design/implementation and delivery of great user experiences

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills Excellent system design and problem-solving skills

-Solid Experiences with OO designs and familiar with design patterns

-Passionate about user experience and user facing features

-Solid Experiences with desktop and web technologies such as WPF, C#, SOAP, REST, etc.

-Experience with Windows, WPF, Mac, XCode, Xamarin etc. a plus
