OWA is the rich Web Mail client that powers both the email & calendar experiences for Office 365 as well as the Outlook.com consumer email service.

But the technical challenges and opportunities that we currently face have never been greater. Creating the world's leading business and consumer Web Email experience requires a focused effort on multiple fronts. Our focus is on building gorgeous addictive UI, industry leading experiences in discovering information, consuming content and organizing your digital life.

We are developing and supporting a scalable solution in the fastest growing cloud service - Office 365. We are looking for Engineers that are passionate about great UX, knowledgeable about creating scalable services and obsessed about our customers. Feature scope will span from the client-side UX to how the data is stored and accessed in the cloud service. Our coding environment on the server is C# and ASP. Net. Our client-side UI is comprised of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. In this release we are aiming to build a richer, more immersive client experience than was possible before and to extend that experience to three screens - phone, tablet, and desktop.

Your responsibilities include:
- Participation on virtual teams to define new scenarios.
- Reviewing functional design and ensure they are sound and complete.
- Design and code new features as well as maintaining existing features.
- Understanding emerging technologies and when/how to apply them to Outlook.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping software.
- Experience building scalable, secure, high-performance, server applications.
- Strong customer focus and empathy for the end-user.
- Experience with web technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiar with OSS technology like ReactJS and Node.js.
- A strong design sense and passion for building great UI.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
