Do you have a passion for creating great user experiences? Do you have a track record of delivering high quality code on schedule? Data Domain (DD) is looking for a standout GUI software engineer to join our high energy team and to create world class interfaces to the best de-duplication storage systems.
The DD Management Center (DDMC) product is a scalable, virtual appliance-based solution for centralized management of multiple Data Domain systems. The DDMC GUI team is responsible for developing the web based application which allows customer to manage and monitor DD systems through the web browser.
+ Design, develop, and maintain GUI software using Java and Web 2.0 technologies.
+ Participate in architecture discussions and reviews.
+ Participate in milestone demos and constructively weigh and integrate feedback from Product Designers, GUI Designers, and customers.
+ Work in a distributed-team environment.
+ Work closely with other development teams, QA, and customer support.
+ MS or BS Computer Science with 2+ years of industry experience
+ Solid Java programming skills and in-depth knowledge of OOD and OOP
+ Knowledge of web application development
+ Strong debugging skills
+ Detail oriented
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Effective in a fast paced, dynamic environment
+ Knowledge of GWT/GXT, Flex/ActionScript a plus
+ Knowledge of Agile development methodology (Scrum, XP, etc.) a plus
+ Knowledge of UX design, storage system technology, system management/system administration UI development a plus
