Are you passionate about ensuring that developers on Windows can push the boundaries on current and future hardware? Do you want to help ensure that users are both delighted by what their applications can achieve as well as the battery life of their hardware?

We are the Composition team, and we do all of the above and more! Our team owns the rendering technology for the UWP application frameworks, Edge, and everything else that draws to the screen within Microsoft – running across all the windows devices, including Windows, Xbox, and Windows Mobile. Our team is responsible for exposing APIs that enable developers to create rich, high performance, and interactive experiences in the next generation of applications. We are looking for someone with a passion for performance who can drive our performance improvements across all of composition, across all our platforms, through both CPU and GPU performance investigation.

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Software Development

Additional experience in the following would be useful, but not required:

• Performance tuning and analysis
• Graphics/Rendering experience (Direct3D or OpenGL)
• UX/XAML/HTML
• Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
• C/C++
