Do you want to enable Microsoft and its partners to sell cool products and services to millions of customers across the globe? The Cayman Team within UST is building a set of services to re-invent the way Microsoft does business with our customers and partners. We power business models for Windows, Office, Azure, Xbox, Skype and many others. We are building services that allow Microsoft businesses to “configure and manage” their e-Commerce. We want to enable quick and convenient business data management, enabling business agility and configuring various services to enable transactions, order management, subscriptions, billing etc. to operate correctly as per business intent. The work we do impacts the Microsoft bottom-line to the tune of billions of dollars in business growth and revenue. We’re going after hard problems with tremendous impact. You will contribute to enhancing the catalog framework to support new business scenarios and models. You will be building high scale and performant storage stack for commerce services. This is a rare opportunity to work on something that is early stage and highly strategic to Microsoft. You’ll be collaborating with various teams across the company. The ideal candidate must have passion and an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed in this fast-paced team.

As an SWE II, you will be successful in the role if you are data driven and have multiple years experience in designing complex systems, data modeling, and you have delivered multiple releases of a mainstream software or services.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who has:
•4+ years of design and coding experience with C++, C#, .NET or Java
•Strong ability to analyze and solve hard problems
•Effective communication and collaboration with other engineers
•Solid engineering practices in design, coding, and testing
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related fields

Additional qualifications/experience preferred:
•Experience with Azure or cloud services is highly desirable
•Experience with NoSQL paradigms
•Experience with data modeling
•Experience with Elastic search
•Familiarity with Commerce is a plus
