Accessibility tools engineering team, we deliver modern development tools for designing and validating accessibility experience during application development. Our tools will improve how our developers (Internal and external both) improve their apps (Classic Windows/WPF/UWP/Web and more) for people with disability. It empowers everyone, Yes Everyone!

To continue providing the best experiences for application development and most accessible applications, our team is making significant investments toward modernizing the Accessibility tools. We will define new foundations that will shape the next generation of modern developments tools for Accessibility on Windows Desktop and more.

We are looking for a software engineer who shares our passion for great software. You will contribute to the design, implementation and validation of major improvements to our new tools for Windows desktop and more. Also, you will work with our sister team to integrate our tools with the existing service from TFS. In addition to strong technical skills, successful candidates must also have a passion for innovation and software quality. They should be comfortable with rapid changes in technology, and must demonstrate strong communications skills. You must collaborate effectively with other teams as much of our effort is focused on development tools across Microsoft. This is your opportunity to redesign and advance the state of the art for Accessibility tools on Desktop and more across Microsoft.

Successful candidates will have:

• Outstanding problem solving skills, creativity, and passion for innovation and design
• A willingness to work in an agile, iterative development environment
• UI Design experience is preferred
• XAML (UWP, WPF) experience is plus.
• Experience with existing Accessibility tools on any platform (Windows/Android/iOS and more) is plus.
• At least 3 years of relevant expertise developing software using any OOP languages such as C#, C/C++, or Java

Required Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience developing software in C#, C/C++, Java or any OOP languages
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or in place of 4 year degree an equivalent industry internship or industry software engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• UI Design experience is preferred
• XAML (UWP, WPF) experience is plus.
• Experience with existing Accessibility tools on any platform (Windows/Android/iOS and more) is plus.
