As an engineer on the remote desktop team, you will work on the next generation of Remote Desktop services that are built for both hosting environment and enterprises. The work will involve improving security, performance, reliability and scale of the system. You will work on integrating our services with other Azure services. As features are developed, you will implement diagnostics for the hoster admins to diagnose problems. You will also be responsible to add telemetry to know the adoption of the features and its issues. You will sometimes be working directly with customers to resolve their issues.
We are the Remote Desktop team in Windows Division and we are looking for passionate developers to join our team and deliver the next generation Remote Desktop experience and services. Remote Desktop team covers a broad set of scenarios, from large server farm deployments in enterprise and hosting environments to enabling administrators to manage remotely servers or developers to access their workstation from anywhere at any time. Remote Desktop technology is available on a large set of end user devices (phones, tablets, laptops etc.) and is tightly integrated in various aspects of the user experience. We believe in Agile development and continuous development. Our team has very active customer relationships and team members get to work very closely with them. • BS/MS in Computer Science OR 7+ years of development experience
• 5+ years of C/C++/C# development experience
• 5+ experience developing, testing and maintaining Windows applications
• Strong design skills
• Solid analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
