Software Engineer II
Windows 10 introduced a new model to run the OS as a service “Windows as a Service” (WaaS). The key goal of this model is to ensure that devices running Windows 10 are kept up to date with the latest security patches and they move forward to new Feature Updates on a more rapid cadence. We aspire to provide a great experience for enterprises that are Cloud managed and thus connected directly to Windows Update for Business. Our team delivers solutions for enterprises to be successful in the WaaS model. Specifically, we build products in the M365 management and Analytics space to provide enterprises with great capabilities in managing and monitoring update compliance, ring definitions, performance, overall health of their enterprise based on proactive intelligent insights. Our goal is ultimately enable a low touch environment for enterprises to be in the virtuous cycle of taking keeping their devices current and fresh through a single pane of glass.
This is a great opportunity to join a startup team and have a direct impact on making WaaS successful in the Enterprise space. As a developer in the team, you will design and develop distributed and data-intensive services and experiences from the ground up to enable enterprise customers to adopt and stay on WaaS. You will work closely with other teams across divisions under the M365 space to bring enterprises into modern cloud management with analytics and integrating with management tools like SCCM and Intune. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is willing to take on challenging initiatives, capable of working both independently and with others as a team, and able to follow through to deliver results.
• 2+ years software development experience
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Solid programming implementation experience in C, C++, C#, or equivalent language.
• Strong technical problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Strong desire to work collaboratively and solve.
• Highly motivated to solve complex technical problems to simplify and solve customer needs
