We are building a geo-available service where Microsoft and partners can offer a rich app ecosystem to our cloud customers. We operate with the implementation speed and agility of a start-up and work on the latest technologies in an exciting, competitive and strategic market.

Microsoft AppSource team is looking to hire extremely talented and highly motivated engineers to build web portal experiences and backend services. We work across teams/orgs to deliver an integrated and seamless experience for customers to acquire apps. We iterate quickly and deploy to production often. We’re looking for engineer with a passion for creating compelling web experiences as well as backend web services with the latest technologies. We use HTML5, TypeScript, React.JS, Node.JS, ASP.NET, REST, Web Services/Web Jobs, git, and more!

Candidates must:
- Be creative and highly-motivated with a minimum 6 years of experience
- Be productive and effective when working in a highly collaborative environment
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent industry experience

Skills that are a plus:
- Proficiency building web frameworks and/or solid API design skills
- Passion for quality at cloud-scale
- Experience with technologies like Single Page Applications (SPA), JSON, App Services, and git
- Prior work experience with Azure, Cloud Services, and REST APIs

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
