Software Engineer IV - (E4)

Architects, designs, prototypes and develops complex software projects for semiconductor equipment components and devices. Projects include design of database, front-end, user interface, data analysis and remote access systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technically leads and executes difficult and complex software projects
  • Troubleshoots a variety of difficult and complex software problems. Designs and implements bug fixes
  • Designs and prototypes user interface
  • Defines software specifications and designs software products
  • Defines and drives improvements to development and troubleshooting process
  • Develops software documentation
  • Contributes to technical review boards for assigned programs
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers for requirements analysis and schedule.
Technical Skills

  • Required:
    • Proficiency and multi-year professional experience in C#, .NET
    • Experience in C, C
  • In addition, professional experience in programming in several of the following areas is desired:
  • DBMS (sql, no sql)
  • User Interface
  • Visual Studio
  • Unit-tests
  • Multi-threading

  • May lead functional teams
  • Provides guidance and leadership to colleagues

  • Leads others to solve complex problems
  • Uses sophisticated analytical tools
  • Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents

  • Master's Degree with 5 or more years of professional experience or
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of professional experience
