Our team is on a mission to modernize Windows localization and internationalization platforms so Microsoft moves faster, delights global customers & developers, and empowers creative & linguistic communities to sell content through the store. We’ll deliver this success by modernizing key parts of the Windows Core OS and build system to begin leveraging MSR-powered machine translation and a new, scalable community feedback loop.
We need experienced, passionate, and broad-ranging engineers who obsess about software design and product quality, but also care for Windows’ ability to establish a natural, local, and more personal connection with our customers around the world. Ideal candidates can move up and down the stack on code flow, go sideways to help partners, and drive scenarios. We want people who can handle ambiguity and turn amorphous problems and desires into defined plans, then execute on them together with an energized team.
● 3+ years of software development experience.

● Strong debugging skills
● M.S. or better in Computer Science, Math, Computer or Electrical Engineering
