Mobile Infrastructure team is responsible for improving the mobile application development at LinkedIn. The team creates the foundation that all LinkedIn applications are built on. Our goal is to develop the best mobile platform and frameworks for building the best mobile applications in highly competitive markets. We are always working with cutting edge technologies and dealing with aggressive resource and performance constraints.
We are looking for a software engineering manager who is going to be responsible for the Mobile Infrastructure team. This person will grow the team, prioritize development of highly important mobile components and set long term vision for the team.
Lead and manage with architectural experience and a passion for mentoring. Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation and learning with peer programming and code reviews. Encourage focus on project execution and ensure forward momentum. Lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths. Oversee code deployments up to dozens a day-we ship code whenever the feature is ready.
Basic Qualifications:
B. . /B. . in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years management experience 4+ years of mobile development experience 7+ years of industry experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience on both Android and iOS platforms Experience building mobile infrastructure or other infrastructure
