Job Description
Workday's new office in Boulder, Colorado is home to the team that is delivering our next generation of collaborative tools and features.  From Worksheets (a real-time collaborative spreadsheet tool that allows users to seamlessly bring together, manipulate, and share Workday data) to W:Drive (a warehouse of easily stored and shared content), the Workday team in Boulder is changing the way enterprises collaborate. As a Software Engineer, you will help develop and test new analytic and collaboration technologies for Workday's product suite.  You will work with development leads to add new functionality, fix bugs, develop automated tests, and improve the continuous integration pipeline.  You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to many layers and aspects of the technology in use, including database query and update operations, object-oriented modeling and design, API design and implementation, security and encryption concerns, and multi-node scaling solutions.

Skills & Experience
  • A degree in Computer Science or related field, either completed or in progress.
  • Course work or professional experience in data structures and object-oriented design.
  • Course work or professional experience with Java.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ready to engage with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with any of the following development technologies is not required but would be considered a plus: Git, Ant, JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Jersey, Tomcat, Jira, Excel.
