CGBU Tekelec Production Verification team The Eagle Quality Assurance team analyzes new features and functionality of the Eagle family of products, creates and executes feature and system test plans. Test tools and Automation development are integral to this testing activity. Responsibilities:
Produce, enhance, maintain and support a suite of tools used to facilitate the development and testing of Oracle Signaling, Database Provisioning and Performance Management products. These test tools are planned, designed, coded, tested, and documented in a dynamic environment using Agile and Iterative software development techniques and processes. This position will work directly with Oracle product QA engineers and development engineers. Candidate must be self-motivated and self-directed to find solutions to test tool issues or enhancement needs.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with and/or working knowledge of Solaris, UNIX and Linux operating systems including system admin, shell scripting, Python programming and C , are highly desirable. IP Network and Cisco Router debugging and admin experience are also highly desired. Experience with web and network security test tools is a plus. Experience and/or working knowledge of telecommunication networks and protocols, such as TCP/IP, SCTP, Diameter and SS7 are also highly desirable. The candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
