We are seeking a Software SQA/System Test Engineer to join our growing team and participate in the development of a state-of-the-art digital lithography tool. The successful candidate will help drive our software and system quality by working with both the software and hardware teams on the development of Test Plans, tests and methodologies for finding problems before they surface.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribution to the SQA function and infrastructure for the Digital Lithography group
  2. Working with software developers to help them create Test Plans and tests for validating system and hardware board functionality
  3. Organize and facilitate reviews of Test Plans and test execution results
  4. Integration of software unit tests into the board test framework and documentation of the system/board test procedures
  5. Training of software development team in the use of SQA tools and framework for test coverage and test effectiveness
  6. Analysis of quality results and directions for process and product improvement

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years' experience in hands-on SQA development
  • 2 years' experience with system level and/or hardware board test
  • Hands-on SQA testing and evaluation expertise
  • Familiarity with Linux based embedded systems is required
  • Experience developing tests and test automation tools in TCL, Python and shell
  • Some experience in C and network programming is desirable
  • Experience with using software and software tools to test hardware boards and systems
  • Experience in manufacturing automation and machine control industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and process documentation skills for developing test methodologies while working with software and hardware developers
