Rapidly growing professional services organization is seeking a Software Test Engineer / QA Lead. The Software Test Engineer / Quality Assurance (QA) Lead will be an active member of the Product Development team and will be responsible for creating, planning, executing and automating test procedures for products that are either built in-house or other commercial products that integrate with our in-house system. The Software Test Engineer / QA Analyst will collaborate with internal technical associates to determine short and long term Automation Strategy. Additionally, the QA shall recommend how to maintain existing environment and ensure end to end testing can be executed for product and software changes.
The position involves the following duties
Create, execute, and document automated test processes for testing new and upgraded systems;
Execute test cases and accurately document the results;
Collaborate with internal technical team performing QA activities in the validation of software readiness involving staging and release processes;
Participate in product deliverable reviews, and provide input on project requirements including scope, design, timelines, or potential problems;
Assist business users, end-users and clients with User Acceptance Tests and Beta testing prior to product launches;
Experience with some type of combo of the following - Selenium, HP LoadRunner, SQL Stored Procedures, Python and Java Spring Framework;
Keep abreast of technological developments and changes in the fields of information technology;
Junior development tasks to learn such tasks as find/report and potentially fix bugs;
