As a Solution Engineer for the Engineering team, you'll work cross-functionally across business within Sanovi in some cases with Sanovi Partners and architect, build, test and validate Solutions to create technical content for customers, Systems Engineers and Channel Partners. The Engineer will work closely with Product Management and Engineering influencing the company's future strategies related to their specific area of expertise to achieve corporate goals in regards to product integration, etc.
Architect, test and validation Solution designs and Develop technical collateral in the form of Best Practices Guides, Design Guides, Integration Guide, Implementation guides, technical reports, etc
Content Maintenance - Perform updates, revisions and removal of content in the engineers area of expertise and ensure currency of technical content, Materials subject to maintenance include: Technical Reports, PPTs, FAQs, White papers, etc.
Advanced Training - Develop technical training contents in the form of PPT presentations, Demos, and Webinars in the engineer's area of expertise, Training audience will include Sanovi Field personnel and Channel Partners.
Education and Self Development - Continue to develop Subject Matter expertise through external and internal training and excel as a technical evangelist in the engineer's area of expertise.
Customer Interaction - engage with Sanovi Sales/PreSales when required and provide subject matter expertise / demo's and participates in sessions with Executive briefings with the customer. This involves briefing and discussion at Executive level.
The Engineer is expected to perform lab management tasks in maintaining the lab equipment setup and tear down for your projects.
As a Subject Matter Expert in your area of work, you are required to blog consistently.
Technical Skills & Job Requirement:
Strong in Azure administration or VMware administration.(MANDATORY)
Strong in SCRIPTING.(MANDATORY)
Strong understanding of the Data Protection (Back-up, Recovery, DR, Data Archival & Retention) for application workloads such as MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Hyper-V, azure, AWS, Blumix etc.
Hands-on experience on Enterprise Back-up & Recovery software consulting, design/architect and deployment of end-end data management workflow is must and should have worked on On-premises, Cloud & Hybrid architecture models.
Understanding of Back-up to cloud architectures is preferred.
Knowledge of any storage, and any scripting language, preferred TCL & automation workflows is plus.
Integrating with API's
Ability to build business cases and use cases around Disaster recovery solutions and should be able to architect solutions for Enterprise Applications.
Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills and should be able to communicate across the hierarchy of management and influence investments in the area of work.
Ability to plan, outline, scope technical project and drive project to closure and deliver in time.
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization in all the geo's and should lead and drive technical projects.
