**Job Description:** This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Storage Implementation Engineer. The role is responsible for storage architecture planning, installation, configuration and turn up of Vblock storage functionality into customer environments. The person in this role provides planning, leadership, direction, and advanced technical expertise regarding VCE products, technology and best practices. This is a customer facing role and requires excellent communication and customer relationship management skills. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provide storage planning, integration, operation and upgrade services on the VCE Vblock platform + Provide consultative, proactive and/or reactive support to VCE accounts + Provide customers with knowledge transfer of Vblock storage and operation + Provide input to and creates key project documentation deliverables based on standard practices + Collaborate with cross-functional groups within VCE and the customer to achieve key account objectives + Leverage existing best practices for documenting the key aspects of storage design, plan and implement + Provide remote and/or on-site support for ad hoc customer requests **EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS** The ideal candidate for this position is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to escalating issues. This opportunity requires a Sr. Architect with a broad mix of storage knowledge and specific area of expertise related to use of network technologies for critical IT problem solving in an enterprise or service provider environment. Additionally, you must have: **Required:** + 5-8 years of experience as an EMC Storage Engineer, specifically storage design, installation and implementation with Enterprise class data center environments. + Experience with EMC Storage platforms, VNX (Unified Block & FILE), VNXe and VMAX software and hardware installation and upgrades + Internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment + Experience with the setup and implementation of Navisphere/Unisphere and PowerPath and Multipathing + Strong interpersonal and communication as well as collaboration skills + Strong technical presentation skills + Ability to travel domestically 70%+ of the time **Strongly Desired Skills** : + An understanding of the Project Management process and ability work as a collaborative member of a team + Understanding of ITIL foundations + Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent.
