The Sonographer (ECHO) performs the daily routine/critical care and diagnostic procedures as ordered by the Physician. The Sonographer (ECHO) performs required diagnostic testing, conducts basic equipment maintenance, quality control measures, reporting of abnormal findings to physician (if immediate attention is indicated), and other administrative, technical or supervisory tasks as might be required.
Education and Experience:
Required: High school graduate or equivalent, plus one year of technical training including courses related to cardiology. One year experience in cardiology or related education equivalent to one year experience; Graduate of approved program.
Preferred: One year hospital-based experience
Licenses and Certificates:
Required: BCLS by American Heart Association; RDCS by ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible
