Capital One is looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager located in Richmond or McLean, Virginia, to join its team. The individual filling this role will need to have sound procurement skills, deep relationship management skills, and strong consultative skills. This individual will work across many categories and will own the end-to-end process of bringing new suppliers into the Capital One network.
Their responsibilities will include sourcing strategies, category strategies, supplier communications, request for proposals (and related due diligence), competitive intelligence, and deal strategy & negotiations (contract terms and conditions, scopes of work, pricing, service levels, etc.). They will also assist a dedicated Contract Manager to negotiate and finalize the supplier agreements.
The Sourcing Manager is expected to work within a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The Sourcing Manager will interact closely with members of Enterprise Supplier Management, colleagues across different Capital One lines of business, and representatives from third-party suppliers. Excellent influencing and communication skills are a must. They will need to demonstrate positive energy, innovative ideas, proactive and results oriented workstyle, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.
