The Interventional Specialty Team Expert is responsible for managing tactical activities in interventional services including the Cardiac Cath Lab. These include but are not limited to the supplies, equipment and staff used to support these Interventional Services Specialties. They are responsible for ensuring team members are clinically competent to support their services on all shifts. Actively participate in activities focused on daily as well as projected resource allocation. Provide guidance to supply chain for changes to supply and equipment demand of service. He/she is responsible for identifying the need for, implementing and complying with all unit, hospital and applicable regulatory standards. The Service Expert is responsible for clinical and administrative decisions on the unit during the absence of the VP, Surg and Interventional Services. He/she supervises all caregivers on the unit and service as a role model to staff. Accountable for performance metrics related to their service lines.
Two years of recent Cath Lab experience preferred. Demonstrate written and oral communication skills. Leadership as well as management skills preferred.
As required to ensure appropriate coverage of department services. Willing to adjust schedule to meet demands of service. (Generally weekday day shift). On call shifts will be required to meet the unit needs during off hours, weekends, and holidays.
Graduate of an N.L.N. Accredited Nursing Program; BSN
