Position Summary:
The Programmer Service Delivery Advisor supports enterprise level and mission critical services within the
Specialty group at CVS Health. The Advisor leverages skills with industry standard technologies to maintain applications central to the operations of CVS Health.

In this role, it is important that you understand the business purpose for the supported services and you would be expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices for the team to ensure that quality standards are met. You will be be responsible for maintaining the application ecosystem, partnering with core infrastructure & application development teams to resolve defects, execute defect elimination plans and identify actions to improve overall service stability.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of technical solutions as assigned, adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines. A successful candidate will have a sharp focus on platform stability, quality of service, continuous improvement and risk mitigation and have the ability to influence behavior to achieve the right outcomes to support the business.


Required Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 of Service Delivery support or programming experience using one or more of the following languages: Java, Angular JS, SQL, PL/SQL, .NET, or another language used by CVS Health.
-Exposure to at least one of the major database management systems, e.g. DB2, Oracle, SQL Server.
-Project Management experience.





Preferred Qualifications:
Production Support Experience with
high-volume scalable environments.
Project Management Experience –
PMI-PMP certification is preferred.
Prior Healthcare or PBM background.



Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or High School Diploma/GED accompanied by equivalent required work experience.
